If Joe Manganiello‘s Men’s Health interview tells us anything, it’s that the female extras on set of the male stripper movie Magic Mike were lucky ladies.
The True Blood star, 35, not only revealed his buldging biceps in a sexy shirtless photo shoot with the magazine, he also disclosed that he and his co-stars — of which include Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughy and Matt Bomer — gave their on screen female fans something to rememeber.
“We were … manhandling groups of 200 female extras every day,” Joe admitted.
Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Joe plays Big Dick Richie in Magic Mike, and believes that roles such as these are bringing about a “return to ‘Man’” in Hollywood.
“People come up to me and say they miss those silent, tough guys like Clint Eastwood and Steve McQueen,” he explains to the magazine (via London Daily Mail). “You’ve still got to be able to act and emote, but you also have to fit the role physically, and that physique is now lean and muscular.”
